Battalion Brands is a franchise system designed to empower veterans by providing them with comprehensive support, including coaching, financial assistance, and a proven business model. Our mission is to create successful veteran entrepreneurs in the home services industry, particularly roofing.
Our franchise model consists of two paths; Traditional or Service to Success. Both include initial training, ongoing business and trade coaching, mental health support, and access to established business processes. With Service to Success, Veterans can start working within a corporate owned location and upon meeting specific performance metrics, transition to full franchise ownership with ongoing support.
The VC Initiative is a funding mechanism where 1% of the gross revenue from every job completed by existing franchisees is allocated to support the establishment of new franchises. This creates a sustainable model for growth and community engagement.
Our franchise opportunities are tailored specifically for veterans. We collaborate closely with the Veterans Affairs (VA) and other veteran organizations to identify and support potential franchisees who are interested in business ownership.
We offer comprehensive training programs at our state-of-the-art training center in Richmond, KY. We pride ourselves in training and preparation and we partner with the top trainers in the industry. We cover a wide range of roofing techniques, sales and marketing business management, financial planning, customer service, and quality workmanship.
Franchisees receive ongoing support that includes business coaching, mental health support, operational guidance, and access to a network of industry partners. This support is designed to ensure the long-term success of each franchisee.
Our funding comes from a combination of sources, including private investors, grants, donations, and the VC Initiative. Outside of a traditional SBA loan, We also work to secure funding through partnerships with nonprofits and government programs focused on veteran support.
The startup costs for a franchise include an upfront franchise fee, liquid capital for operations, technology investment, and marketing and operational setup. Detailed costs can be discussed during the application process.
Each franchise commits to dedicating one day each month to volunteer activities, fostering community ties, and enhancing local visibility. This commitment not only helps the community but also serves as a powerful marketing tool.
